WIRES 2026 Wildlife Photography Competition

The WIRES Wildlife Photography Competition is now open, and we're looking for your best images of Australia's wonderful native wildlife.

If you've captured an incredible wildlife encounter, we'd love to see it. From professional photographers to smartphone snappers, everyone is encouraged to enter.

Winning photos will be featured in our WIRES 2027 Wildlife Calendar, with proceeds helping fund wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and recovery efforts across Australia.

By entering, you're not only showcasing Australia's unique wildlife, you're helping to make a difference for the animals that need us most
