WIRES North Shore
About WIRES North Shore
Welcome to WIRES North Shore. We are dedicated to the rescue, care, rehabilitation and release of native animals back to the wild. Our area covers Mooney Mooney and Milsons Passage in the north, to McMahons Point and Kirribilli in the south, west to Dundas and Oatlands, and east to St Ives, Killara and Northbridge, including Lane Cove National Park and parts of Ku-Ring-Gai National Park. The branch provides ongoing community wildlife information and education and proactively engages in local activities to help protect and preserve wildlife and wildlife habitat.
We thank all the local veterinary practitioners and clinics in the area, as well as community members and businesses for their ongoing support of our wildlife work.
If you choose to raise funds for our branch, they will go directly to provide vital rescue and care for wildlife in desperate need. For ideas on how to fundraise for us email fundraising@wires.org.au.
