Every Virtual Carer helps save native animals – and your cuddly friend will remind you of the joeys, wombats and koalas you’re protecting.
For a short time only, when you become a WIRES Virtual Carer with a monthly gift of $30, you’ll not only be giving sick, injured and orphaned wildlife the second chance they deserve – you’ll also receive a free plushie and information pack as our heartfelt thank you.
After your third monthly donation, we’ll carefully send your chosen kangaroo, koala or wombat plushie straight to your door – a daily reminder of the real animals you’re helping to protect.
But be quick – only 200 plushies are available, and they’re expected to hop, waddle and climb out the door fast!
Your gift keeps WIRES’ 24/7 rescue line running, powers emergency response teams, and supports dedicated carers as they feed joeys, nurse koalas back to health and restore habitats for wombats and countless other species.

How long will it take to receive my plushie after my third gift?
How many plushies are available?
This is a limited run:
-
100 kangaroo plushies

50 wombat plushies
-
50 koala plushies
Once a plushie species is no longer available, we’ll update the website to reflect this.
What happens if the plushie I chose sells out?
Our system checks inventory once a day. On rare occasions, if demand is high, your selected plushie might sell out before the update is reflected.
If this happens, we’ll send you another plushie from the collection and notify you by email. If you’d prefer not to receive a substitute, email marketing@wires.org.au with a copy of your donation receipt and we’ll be happy to issue a refund.
