Thank you for supporting our Emergency Fund

Your generosity will make a significant difference by helping us in our work to assist wildlife impacted by bushfires and drought. Tiny 'Busby' is one survivor of the recent fires. He was rescued as an orphaned and suffering burnt paws and is safely in care with a WIRES volunteer and doing well.

Much of our work will be in the aftermath of the fires in the weeks and for many months to come as active firegrounds become safely accessible to our volunteers and we can search for survivors. In addition we sadly expect to be rescuing many animals suffering from loss of habitat which goes hand in hand with food shortages and malnourishment.

Your contribution will be a massive help in our efforts to assist those animals.

Please know that we are committed to improving outcomes for native animals and that we act with integrity and use donations wisely.

WIRES receives no confirmed, ongoing government funding for rescue and care operations, making contributions like yours vital for our services.
