For endangered koalas like Digger,

When Digger was rescued in late 2024 he was barely the size of his rescuer’s hand. We don’t know for sure, but we think his mother had died or become too sick to care for her tiny joey.
He was brought into the care of WIRES volunteer Tracey, who provided him with two-hourly feeds of specialist formula, all through the day and night, to build up his health and strength.
14 months on – he's just been released, for his second chance in the wild!
