Workplace Giving is a simple yet powerful way for employees to assist WIRES volunteers in delivering services to vulnerable and sick native animals through dollars received via regular payroll donations.  Once established, Workplace Giving provides both WIRES and your organisation with a low cost and low maintenance way to support the community.

By supporting WIRES through Workplace Giving you will help:

• rescue and care for native wildlife unable to fend for itself, with at all times the best interests of the animals placed first and with the objective of returning them to the wild
• educate the public about the habitat requirements for native wildlife and its maintenance and re-establishment 
• foster and promote awareness in the community and in government of the dangers to, and the need to protect, native wildlife
• act and/or advise on the problems of unwanted wildlife and its removal bearing in mind the best interests of the animal and its habitat
• encourage and undertake research pertinent to WIRES objectives

How it works

Workplace Giving donations are deducted from your employees' salary before tax is applied, thus reducing taxable income. Furthermore, because donations are made pre-tax, it only costs each employee 52 cents for every dollar they pledge*. *The Australian Taxation Office pays the balance.

No amount is too small to make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged animals.
