Leaving a will is something we all have to do if we want to ensure that our loved ones are taken care of in the future, however it can seem a daunting prospect.

WIRES has a bequest information booklet, My Wishes, My Family which explains in clear, concise ways the steps you should take and things to consider before you visit your solicitor to make or update your Will.

Including a charity bequest in your will can ensure the causes you really care about are remembered as well. We hope that you will consider including a legacy to WIRES and in so doing, help us to continue the work we do in preserving and protecting our wildlife for generations to come.

Our booklet is free to anyone who would like a copy - whether or not you intend to include WIRES in your Will. If you are over 18 and would like to receive a copy, please contact WIRES on 02 8977 3333 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

To honour our supporters we have established the Eternally Native club, a special group of like-minded people who have pledged a bequest to WIRES in their wills.

Members of the Eternally Native club are honoured during their life time when they are able to accept our warmest thanks and appreciation for their pledged support, thoughtfulness and generosity.

Members are invited to exclusive events or lectures. In addition they will have their names, with their permission listed in the annual honour roll.

There are no obligations of membership other than naming WIRES as a beneficiary in your will or having a life insurance policy made out in favour to WIRES.

Membership is voluntary; you can join at any time and you can bring a family member or a friend to any of our members' only events. There are no membership fees.

If you have decided to include WIRES in your will, would like us to know and would like to become a member of the Eternally Native club, simply email your details to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
